An Exterior View of the Chapel
The Bryn Seion Chapel has been sympathetically renovated and brought back to life, offering a contemporary feel. The history has been retained in the design of the Pontcysyllte Chapel Tearoom, and original features have been preserved.
Staff offer a warm welcome to all guests who want to enjoy food and beverages in a modernised chapel. With underfloor heating, restrooms, Wi-Fi, and on-site parking, guests can enjoy their visit in comfort.
Coffee, brewed from freshly roasted beans by Adam and Russell, and professionally made by trained baristas can be enjoyed, alongside a variety of foods, from breakfasts, to lighter meals, such as jacket potatoes, salads and sandwiches.
Guests will enjoy the local historical attractions, such as the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, that was completed in 1805, by Thomas Telford, which can be found a short walk away from the Pontcysyllte Chapel Tearoom.

"Absolutely amazing afternoon tea today at Pontcysyllte Chapel Tearoom.
Everything was gorgeous, really soft fresh quality bread on the sandwiches with lovely tasty selection of fillings.
A fabulous selection of homemade cakes, with fresh scones with jam & clotted cream. Endless top ups of tea & coffee.
Afternoon Tea is such a treat & indulgence to have and Sally & the team went that extra mile to make it super special occasion. Thank you so much. We highly recommend."

"We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were very well looked after, by friendly and approachable staff. The food was delicious, freshly prepared and of a high standard. There were lots of additional touches, including mini quiches and delicious sausage rolls.
We couldn’t fault our afternoon, it made for a
lovely birthday celebration.
We will be coming back - thank you."

"This former church continues to serve this small community as a vital social and economic resource. Charming, quaint, light and airy, but don’t be fooled. This establishment takes its brekkie seriously. The traditional is done very well, but don’t stop there. They have a great array of breakfast baps, and cheerfully accommodate special requests. Tea is served, as well as a respectable number of choices for the coffee drinker. The flat white, similar to a cappuccino, is a real standout. Amazing fresh baked cakes to go with your tea. Highly recommend the Welsh classic, bara brith, generously slathered with butter. What a delightful way to start the day."
